sureshaker
music publishing is established by Neal Hunt and Magda Jansen.

Neal has had a lifetime interest and involvement in music.

A musician himself, Neal participated in many bands. He has also written for music journals throughout Australia and assisted bands either in a consultant, publicist or agent sense. In the case of a couple of bands he has had management relationships. As with most former music journalists, and actually pretty much anyone that likes music, he's never lost touch with his critical ear.

Neal took on the management of The Beautiful Girls prior to the bands first release and has been with the band since, through the bands international touring schedule Neal has formed relationships and gained experience in many territories. At the core of this experience though is a passion for music.

sureshaker also manage Rogerthat, and consult and aid where possible all artists they are associated with.

Neal is always looking for new talent and intriguing songs to add to sureshakers music catalogue.

Magda is from The Netherlands and has an MA in Film and Television Studies from the University of Amsterdam, she has a keen interest in the use of music and sound in film and television.

Magda has travelled extensively, living in Amsterdam, London and Sydney and has followed music internationally, attending gigs and both film and music festivals throughout the world – from working at the International Rotterdam Film Festival and volunteering for the Woodford Folk Festival.

Magda moved to Australia in 2006 and has since co-ordinated and tour managed Lucky Fonz III visit on his tour around Australia with The Beautiful Girls. She has also made the art design for Christopher Ernst's album "Little Pieces". She has experience in web design and looks after most publicity of sureshakers acts.

Coupled with a couple of notable gigs – the (memorable) Jimmy Barnes induction at the Arias in 2005, Woodford Folk Festival, The Great Escape, - Magda’s interest in the (Australian) music business has made her a fast learner of Australian music history.
