Now resident in Sydney's Inner West, sureshaker has to thank the ... Australian Council for the Arts for their help on the 2009, Rogerthat international tour
The recent rogerthat European tour project wouldn't have been possible without the assistance of the Australian Government through the Australian Council for the Arts - its arts funding and advisory body.

We are also busy at work on the 2010 Rogerthat European tour and the release of the bands debut album, The Desert's Call in Benelux thru Rough Trade.

Rog will be heading back in April 2010 and the band will once again tour Holland, Belgium, France and the UK.

Rogerthat came back from their second international tour June 09 - they extended their base a little this time around touring Canada with Current Swell as well as going back to Europe and the UK. The UK show in Bournemouth wa massive and there were a couple of sell outs and some great festival shows. In Timboektoe Beach pavillion in The Netherlands, the crowd was literally hanging off the rafters.

The hirsute men headed straight back on tour when they got back to Aust lauching their debut album, The Desert's Call. Check their ucoming tour dates on MySpace www.myspace.com/rogerthatofficial

BMRC are in full preparation for their new album release. Meanwhile they have had a single release tour thru November hitting Queenscliff music festival, Brisbane (the Troubadour), and playing the Sound Lounge on the Gold Coast. The bands new single "Looked Good In The Daylight", has picked up some good play on Triple J.

Lucky Fonz III

A national cabaret theatre tour with songs exclusively in Dutch, that's Lucky Fonz III's current adventure. In August he has been on another succesfull South African tour including the famous Oppi Koppi Festival. In the mean time he also wrote a musical score for a Dutch feature film that premiered at the Utrecht Film Festival early October. He is also still gigging as half of the popular DJ duo 'De Rotjes'. His new album 'A Family Like Yours' has been released and is available on iTunes.

CURRENT SWELL

LOOKOUT: The Current Swell guys, who helped Rog out on their recent Canadian tour - are in Aust in Jan 2010 touring with Ash Grunwald. It's a short-ish tour taking in WA and East Coast N.S.W..

AND MAYBE: Rog are also negotiating to release their new album in Japan.
